We are ready!

We have been busy getting ready for Santa and his reindeer.  Last night we made cookies for Santa and this morning we made the Reindeer food.

What you need for Reindeer food-Oats for energy, glitter so the landing pad
sparkles and candy well because reindeer love candy!

We can't wait for Santa to come!!!  Happy Holidays everyone!

Thanks Christine and Paul!

Today we got a big envelope in the mail and little box.  We had no clue who it could be from.  Santa maybe?  Nope it was from our old nanny Christine and her husband Paul.  We were SO excited to open the presents!

 They know what we like!

Thank you Christine and Paul! We also really want to the eat the cookies, but mom says we have to wait until tomorrow.  We hope to see you soon (we ask mom at least 3 times a week when you can come play with us!)

I am trying desperately to win a free mini session from Noemi Photography.  Please help me win! All you have to do is go on to Noemi's Facebook page and "like" my comment.  Here is the link to her page.  PLEASE like the page and vote for Alison Hanlin.  Thank you!

And just so you can see why I want some more pictures from her.  Here are pictures of our family taken by Noemi.

Now do you understand why I want this mini session so bad?

Visiting Santa

It's Eli.  Yesterday we went to visit Santa.  Mom says we did not pick the best day to go since it took us 30 minutes to find a place to park at the Mall of America.  But it was so worth it!

 First attempt at a picture.
 Maybe some suckers will help.
 Kind of....

The bad news...mom says I was not a good boy for the rest of the day and that I am going to be on the naughty list.  I better work on that because I REALLY want a Spiderman car!

Enjoying the weather.

It FINALLY snowed here and we were so excited to go out and play in it!

The glasses did not last long, they kept fogging up!
Mmmm snow...we love to eat it!
 Always the princess

 JUMP!

And when we are all done playing we can warm up in front of our fireplace.  We LOVE winter!

Original art work

In the new house we have tons of BIG, EMPTY walls.  I am not complaining...I am thrilled to find inexpensive ways to decorate our space.  So the kids play area downstairs have been bothering me.

BLEH!  Who wants to play here!?!?

So I decided to let the kids paint (using colors they chose themselves) some large canvases to hang in their space.  Thanks to my cousin Tiffany for giving me the tip on how to make sure it did not look like someone had the stomach flu on the canvas (tip: use colors NEXT to one another on the color wheel and you don't get brown!)  Those art teachers know what they are talking about!  Here is how they turned out.

These original works of art are not something I would hang in my living room, but I think for a kids space they are perfect! Now I just have to talk Peter into hanging them on the walls :)
