We're going for it!

That's right it's time for toddler beds. After a couple of nights and naps of sitting in the room to make sure they did not get out of their cribs we figured why not?

Addison and Eli think maybe they should share.

Morgan is certain this bed is ALL hers!

How'd the first night go? Well I (Alison) spent from 8-10 sitting/laying in their room, Peter spent from 10-11:30 in there..FINALLY at 11:30 they fell sleep:) Night 2 I spent 2 hours in their room..fell sleep by 10. Hey at least the time is getting shorter!
What 2 little girls look like after not going to bed until 11:30 in their new toddler beds.
Here's to hoping on night 3 we can cut it down to 1 hour!

The terrible 23rd month?

Hello it's Alison. So they always say it's the terrible 2's but for us it is the terrible 23rd month! Here is a run down of all the "fun" things our little angels are doing to test us.

-Eli and Morgan can now climb out of the cribs, which leads to staying in the room from anywhere from 1/2 hour to 2 hours to ensure everyone stays in their beds.
-Eli and has decided that he does not care how tired he is he is NOT going to bed. We don't listen to him on that one, but then that brings us back to the first bullet.
-All of them eat little to nothing. Foods that they used to eat, they no longer will. One thing they will continue to eat is fruit and candy, at least have their priorities straight.
-"No" is a common response to anything asked.
-Fighting, stealing, and hitting are common occurrences at our house these days.
-Time outs are CONSTANT now.

I write this post to vent and also shed some light on what day to day life is like with 3 23 month olds. We love them dearly, but this last month is definitely not one we will look back on and say "Boy that was easy!"

The one thing they have going for them...they are still so adorable!

So much fun

Hello, we had so much fun and Aunt Laura's wedding yesterday. Don't we look nice?

Me and Morgan walked down with dad, no problem. Eli walked with mom and another little boy Brock. Once Eli saw all the people he decided he it would be better if mom carried him.

Our mommy and daddy got dressed up for the wedding too

We were so happy when the wedding was over so we could relax.

Our favorite part of the wedding was the "favors"

We were so happy to have Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bubba there too so mom and dad could have a break. Thanks!

Who's a big girl?

I am..Morgan! Today after bath time I kept telling mommy "poop, poop" so she put me on the potty. I sat there for a while and then I did it. I pooped on the potty. Mommy said I was a very big girl, but that was not poop in the potty it was pee pee. Whatever it was mom sure was happy.

Sunflower Daze.

We want to tell you about the fun we had at Sunflower Daze in Dexter last weekend. A special thanks to Uncle Chub, Aunt Stacy, and all their friends for planning such a fun day!

My (Morgan) favorite part was the bouncy house and playing with my Grandma Barb.

My (Eli) favorite things were the bouncy house and ring pops.

My (Addison) LEAST favorite thing was the bouncy house-it was WAY too scary. I liked my ring pop too-it was blue if you can't tell. Playing with Grandpa Bubba was lots of fun too.

Wish you could have all been there! Maybe in 2 years you can come down with us for it.

Mission accomplished!

Hello. Sorry it has been so long, we have been busy going down to see Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bubba in Dexter for the past 2 weekends. We are happy to report that mom met her goal (with some help from Grandma Barb)...we are officially a nuk free house (mom's goal was no nuks by age 2). We think she has them hid somewhere just in case, but we can't find them. Life without nuks is not so bad.

Feeling much better.

Addison here. Boy did I have a day yesterday! I got really hot (102.3 degrees) in the morning. I got some medicine and thought everything would be fine, but it wasn't. Then I got even hotter and mom kept sticking this thing in my ear:
By the time daddy got home I was REALLY hot (103.7 degrees) so mom and me went on a car ride to the hospital. When we got there mom say I was 104.3 degrees, but they didn't take that temperature in my ear (they went a little further south) I don't know why I was so hot. I was playing, talking, drinking and being like I always am, just really red. At the hospital they did some crazy things to me. I won't get into the details but how do you think you get pee pee from a girl who doesn't use the potty? NO FUN!! I also had to sit on this table and mom said they took pictures of my lungs. This lady kept bothering me and looking EVERYWHERE. Three good things about the hospital 1) I got a popsicle 2)The room I was in was covered with princesses 3) I got to spend from 7PM-1AM with mom, that's WAY past my bed time. The other good news is I am fine and have been less hot today (99 degrees). They never did figure out why I got so hot. Here I am just chilling with Morgan feeling much better.

I hope I don't have to go back to the hospital any time soon.

PLEASE?

Mommy note: Typically my kids don't walk around without pants and shirts on but they were outside playing and got wet. Since bath time was soon, I decided to just let them be:)
