Swimming Pool Battle Scar

Eli here. We went to the pool today. Mom kept telling me not to run. I could NOT help it, the slide was so fun! This is what happens when you run on wet cement.

It really isn't that bad, but Dora makes everything feel better!

Another great party!

Today we went to our friend Taylor's party at the Little Gym. It was SO fun!

We layed on this thing and it starting blowing up (Addison FREAKED out!)

Then we got to bounce on it.

We played on the rings

We played parachute.
We walked on the balance beam. This teachers name was Morgan, so Morgan REALLY liked her!

Addison was a little scared on the beam but she did it!
AND we even did flips!

Thanks for inviting us to your party Taylor. We LOVED the Little Gym. We would LOVE to take a class there this summer (hint, hint grandmas and grandpa that would be a great birthday gift!!)

Friend or Foe?

Morgan here to tell you about Addison and Eli. You never know if they are going to be nice or mean to each other.
One minute they are the best of friends. Sweet talking, helping each other out, sharing, and holding hands. The next minute Eli is chasing Addison and making her cry, wrestling, stealing toys, and just being awful to one another. Sometimes he chases both of us and makes us cry, but prefers to irritate Addison. I guess I should be happy that they pick on each other and usually leave me out of it. Today they were friends, I guess that means tomorrow they will be foes. I better warn mom!

Sunny Days

Hello! Sorry it has been so long since we posted. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the nice weather we have been having.

We finally got to ride our trikes Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bubba gave us for Christmas.

Our new bikes even have bells:

We jumped in puddles and threw rocks in the puddles:

We took a walk down to the lake, we can't walk on the lake anymore:

And yesterday we got to go to the park. How we have missed the park!

Happy Spring everyone!

Our good idea...

See this? This is what we did with all of our stuff at bedtime.

We thought it would be funny. Lately we have been playing lots of tricks on mom at bedtime. We say we have to go potty when we don't, we throw our blankets off after she covers us up, we ask for endless kisses and hugs, and basically do anything we can to waste time. Well tonight our idea was NOT good. Do you know what mom did? She shut our bedroom door and left our stuff in the hall while we cried to have it back. Can you believe that? We won't be doing that again (or at least that is what mom is hoping!) Good night everyone and a little hint keep your stuff in your bed so you don't have to cry too.

Fun in the water..

We can't wait for Spring!

The joys of 2 1/2 year olds

Lately some interesting things have been coming out of the kids mouths. So I am taking over again to document this before I forget. Pictures are from the last 2 weeks.

So we are potty trained, which leads to some deep conversations while sitting on the potty. Typically comments are about what came out of their siblings:

Addison, "Eli did a big poopy" "I just put a little turd in there"

Morgan, Shrieks with joy every time someone poops and yells "TREAT!"

And the of course every time I use the bathroom I get a cheering section.

Last month I said were were going to the gym, the kids all replied "No." So I said, "Mommy's fat so we need to go to the gym. You don't want to have a fat mommy do you?" So now every time we go to the gym at least one of them pipes up from the back seat and says "Mommy's fat. Mommy need to exercise." How's that for motivation?

Eli is all set for summer!
Addison has recently decided that she needs to take the bus. She gets on her back pack, shoes and tries to put on her coat. Today Eli said he wanted to get on the bus too. Addison's response, "No buddy, you are too little."

Addison has also been getting into pretending more. Last weekend she was trying to get Eli to be a witch and chase her. This would of course be a re-enactment from Dora.

Life with three 2 1/2 year olds is definitely not boring and is sometimes pretty funny. I can only imagine the things they will say in the future to embarrass me.
