Weekend Fun.

We had such a fun weekend. Mom says she is glad we were busy, because we were "annoying." We are not sure what that means, but she sure did say no and stop a lot!

Here we are playing in the sprinkler on Saturday:

Eli

Morgan getting a drink.

Morgan all wet.

Here's what Addison thought about the sprinkler (mom asks "Addison, do you want to play in the sprinkler?" Response):

This morning we went the Children's Museum. I (Morgan) was in such a hurry to get in the car to go I tripped. That's not ketchup on my lip. I scratched my forehead, nose, and lip on the cement. It hurt!

But we still had fun at the museum.

Then we went home and took a nap. When we woke up mom had a special treat for us, home-made pudding pops with mint oreos. YUMMY!

Then me and Eli played in the sprinkler some more. The thing he is playing with is the sprinkler we are supposed to play in, but we like dad's (the one the water the grass) better. Addison just watched, when the water almost hit her she cried. What a baby!

We hope everyone had a fun weekend like us (except for the falling part).

Pictures.

We promised you pictures of our weekend at Grandma Barbs and Grandpa Bubba's. Here they are.

We love staying with them. They have different toys than we do.

We really love the shopping cart and the doll stroller.

But you know what we love even more...PUSHUPS!

DON'T DO IT DAD!!!!!

Watch this video. Can you believe our dad would mow the lawn?!?! It is so dangerous. That thing makes so much noise. And you know what's worse? He's not the only one! There are people all around us mowing too. Do us a favor, don't mow your lawn it's makes us very sad!

We hope you all had a great long weekend. We did! We got to go spend 2 nights with Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bubba. We'll try to post some pictures of all our fun this week. We missed mom and dad a little, but we know they missed us a WHOLE bunch. We think they just sat around and thought about how much they missed us while we were gone:) How could they not? look at us!

I'm so sad!

Eli

This is what I looked like when I clicked on our support childhood cancer link. Come on people (except Grandma Kathy and the Jonwold's) can't you spare $5 to support my daddy? You don't want me to have to cry like this again do you? Click on the link on the right hand side to donate..PLEASE:)

A proud mom/OT moment:)

It's just me, Alison. Most of you probably won't be near as excited about the picture below as I am, but I had to share. This picture is Addison's first time stringing beads and she did great. I know...what is the big deal? Stringing beads is tough! You need hand eye coordintaion, bilateral coordination, sequencing skills, attention, and an appropriate grasping patterns (I know enough therapy talk!) The OT in me is just beaming!! When I found out I was pregnant with 3 babies I prepared myself that they were going to be premature and delayed. Every time they reach a developmental milestone ON TIME or ahead it makes me so happy. So anyway, WAY TO GO ADDISON!
Other new devleopment news since we are on the topic, SPEECH. Here'e the words we have added to our vocabulary:

Eli: please, Mo-mo (Morgan), Add (Addison), Patty (their ECFE teacher), Shelby, and Sydney
Morgan: Add, I (Eli), Shelby, Sydney, Patty, poop
Addison: Mo-Mo, I, Baby (if she's not sure what it is, it's a baby), Shelby, Sydney, Airplane, Patty, poop

Addison and Eli have also learned how to shake their heads no. Of course we don't take them seriously!

This picture is just because. They just decided, lets sit nice and take a picture for mom. Why can't it ever be when I want them to? Oh yeah, because they are toddlers!
Gotta run, Eli has gotten himself into some trouble upstairs (he's supposed to be sleeping).

4 and beyond...

4. New toys. This day it was balloons, we also really like stuff from the dollar store. Mom and Dad can get a toy for each pf us for $3!! That is a deal!

(Minutes later Morgan learned what happens when you lay on a balloon..POP! Another note: The pink tennies...Morgan's choice!)

5. Watching TV with dad.

6. Outings.
Here we are at Great Grandma Bobbies birthday party.
We also really like the Children's museum, Target, and going out to eat. We hope to play with our triplet friends again soon, it has been WAY too long! We get so excited when mom and dad say we get to put shoes on!

7. Playing outside! This should be #1!

Those are our top ways to keep busy these days. Some days we are little bit more sensitive than others, but we think we are pretty good kids. We think mom and dad are pretty lucky to have us:) Bye for now!

2 and 3

2. Baths. Sure sometimes we need to get clean, but we think mom tosses us in there just to waste 30-45 minutes. We don't care. We LOVE baths!
3. Buckets, purses, and other random containers. We can spend hours putting things in and carrying them around!

Number One

This week is going to be devoted to how mom and dad keep us busy and entertained all day.

1. Ticker tape

A lot like mom.

We have all heard how much Addison looks like mom. But did you know we have some of the same eating habits as our mom? We love carbs and condiments. Everything tastes better with ketchup or ranch dressing! We haven't had any sour cream yet, but we think we'll like it just like mom.

Morgan-licked all the ranch off her plate, but left the carrots.

Addison with a ranch mustache

Eli- chewed up the carrots with ranch and then spit the carrot out.
