Shoes

I am not sure if you all know this, but we LOVE shoes (even Eli!) Here are a few reasons why we think shoes are great:

1. They make noise.

2. When you have these kind on you can SEE your toes! HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!
3. When mom and dad get them out it usually means we are going somewhere.

4. One size fits all, at least WE think so.
Guess we are just like mom when it comes to shoes- you can never have too many!

We're a little behind...

We were doing so good with the blog and then we just kind of ran out of time lately. Let us start by saying:
"HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY!"

Our mom made our shirts for us to celebrate the day. We actually celebrated on Wednesday when we went to school. Too bad, we could not have a Guinness to celebrate, mom says it's really good.

In other news, Addison has been spending a lot more time here-TIME OUT:

She has not been listening very well and has been seen hitting mom and dad when they tell her no. NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Here we are at the bike race. This is Grandma Barb and Grandpa Bubba:
Here we are with our Uncle Michael: (we were pretty tired in this picture)
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!! We'll be by with your kisses and hugs soon!

A day of firsts..

Hello Morgan here to tell you about all the things I did for the FIRST time today.

1. Got my haircut.

BEFORE: Curly mullet

During: No big deal. Why do Addison and Eli cry?

AFTER: Curly bob

2. WALKED across the street on a leash of course! Mommy note: For those of you wondering how the heck I did this ALONE. We tried first with all 3 on a leash, but Addison walks like a drunken sailor. She gawks at everything! So after trying for 5 minutes, we pulled out the single stroller and Addison went in there. Then I put Eli and Morgan on the leash and tied the leashes to the handles of the stroller. Then they helped me "push" as we walked across a somewhat busy intersection. Although nerve wracking and tough to figure out I am really trying to get out and do things with less stuff now that they can walk and are pretty good listeners. No pictures of this as my hands where FULL, but I am sure we entertained many people at the intersection! It was very proud moment when we finally made it to the other side!

3. Ate ketchup all by myself. YUM!
WHEW!! It has been a busy couple days. I better go take a nap!

Adventures Outside.

YAY it's nice out!! We can FINALLY go outside!
Hi everyone. It's Addison. Yesterday we took a walk with mom to the park in our neighborhood. It was so fun. It was our first walk where we actually WALKED not just rode in our stroller. It was a lot of fun. Mom had to help me a few times, there were a few little hills and stuff and I was a little scared.
I had fun on the walk too, but as you can see by my pants I fell a few times. One time I fell in a BIG puddle. No big deal though, I am not usually dramatic. I was the leader for the whole walk (don't worry we did not have to walk on the road, just in peoples yards) Mom tried to get me to go on a swing. I did not like that!
It's Eli. Here I am on the swing at the park. I REALLY like to swing. I can't wait for it to get nice so we can go to the park more. It will be so much easier to walk if we don't have to wear our boots, I kept trying to run and then would fall. Another bad thing about boots, they got stuck when mom tried to take me out of the swing.
The one BAD thing about going outside is you eventually have to come in the house:

(YES the yelling you hear is because Eli and Morgan were walking out toward the street!)

Here we are at Como Zoo. We saw monkeys, a zebra, giraffes, a lion, a tiger, and LOTS of fish!

We sure hope the weather stays nice! Also we would like to say hi to our new friend Sefon. We are sorry your first few days in the US were not so good, but believe us it will get better (we didn't have too much fun here at first either!) Can't wait to play with you!

What's new?

Hello it's Morgan. Sorry we haven't blogged so long. Life as a toddler is REALLY busy. We are learning all kinds of new things. Here are just a few:

Body parts/Talking

Using a fork

As you know we go to school now. It is so much fun! We sing songs, play, and eat snacks. Our mommy play with us for a little bit and then leaves to go talk to other mommies. We are the only kids in the class that are ok about "seperating." We are so happy to mom when she comes back but it is good to be away from her and dad sometimes. We get sick of them too!

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the bike race. We still have a long way to go. PLEASE donate!! Even $5 would be nice. If you donate we'll come and give you lots of kisses and hugs:)

The annual Stationary Bike Race

Mom wanted us to ask everyone to donate for the upcoming United Cerebral Palsy Association of MN Stationary bike race. This organization helps people like Uncle Michael live full productive lives (that's what mom says). Click on the icon on the right to donate. We won't be riding the bikes, but mom will be. Thanks so much!

The answer is...

B. I guess it was too easy or maybe you just know me that well. I have been waiting so long to tell you about myself!
I can be so sweet. I like to give open mouth kisses and always have my tongue out for kisses. Most people wipe their face after I give them a kiss, I am not sure why. I like to cuddle with mom and dad from time to time, but prefer to play and rough up my sisters (we'll talk about that more later).
Mom says I am mischievous, not sure what this means. I do like to grab anything I can off the counters and tables if it is within my reach, even though I know I am not supposed to. My favorite is remotes. I also like to try and open cabinets even though mom and dad put these things on there so they don't open all the way. There is enough room to stick my hand in and grab things though, so I do. I love to open and close drawers, I think I am being helpful but I don't think mom and dad feel the same. I am also the one who taught everyone how to throw their mattresses out of their cribs, open closets, climb up on the couch, and tip over cups so milk drips out. I don't try to make trouble, I am just trying to figure out this world.

Now for the "rough" part. I AM A BOY!! I like to play rough. Morgan wrestles with me sometimes, but Addison just runs away from me. I am strong so I always steal toys from my sisters if I want them, but then mom gives me the look so I know I need to give them back. Lately, I have been sharing more as long as I don't like the toy too much.
Like my pink car? Sometimes I push my sisters around on it, but I like to ride it too. Mom says I am in touch with my feminine side since I have 2 sisters. Dad says I will get lots of chicks when I am older. Uncle Chub and grandpa Bubba say I am a "pansy." Whatever that means. As you already know I do like dress up, who cares if it is pink or blue as long as I am having fun!
I also am very talkative. I sit in my crib for hours and talk when I am supposed to be sleeping. I try to keep my sisters awake, but they always seem to ignore me and fall right asleep (mom and dad are happy about that) Thankfully, I always have froggy to talk to. I also really like to talk when I am getting my diaper changed, I have so much to say and this is the only time I have undivided attention. I LOVE to sing too. Mom has been trying to get video of me singing Twinkle Twinkle, but hasn't had much luck. I don't know all the words, but I know the tune.
A couple months ago I learned how to throw "fits." I lower myself to the ground (I don't want to hit my head!). Then I start kicking my legs hard and whining. I make sure to keep an eye on mom and dad to make sure they are watching me, but they NEVER are. I keep trying to get their attention, but is just doesn't seem to be working. OH WELL, I am sure some day they will figure out they need to come pay attention to me so I will just keep doing it.

I hope you have liked learning more about me, don't believe all the bad stuff you hear, I can be a very nice boy...as long as I am not tired, hungry, bored, or hurt:)
