This was the last post on our old site: March 04, 2008 -I know, I know. I keep saying I am going to try to make the updates more frequent. Unfortunately finding a solid hour to spend getting the pictures resized, uploaded and subtitled is hard to do. But here we go. This coming Saturday the kids will be 8 months old. It doesn't really seem like that long. Both Eli and Addison have become pros at sitting up. Morgan can, but she is far more interested in being on her belly and scooting around. She is only days away from full on crawling. Morgan also loves her new walker thing that she roams around the upstairs ransacking anything she can get her hands on and terrorizing Shelby. We have a feeling Morgan is going to be quite the handful as she becomes more mobile. They are all still sleeping from 6:30 or 7:00 in the evening until 6:00 am when they get their morning bottle. Then they are back to bed again until 8:00am, however Morgan has determined that it is her role to make as much noise as possible to keep everyone else awake. This tactic is proving to be successful and I have a feeling that they are going to be up for good after the 6:00am feeding before long. They all love their solid foods and Alison is continuing to make them all in house. So far they have been getting pears, mango, sweet potatoes, avocados, asparagus, peas, carrots and squash. Most of that crap I won't even eat. The last weigh in we had was a week or two ago when they had their RSV shots. I can't find the exact weights, but they were all continuing to grow very well. Eli is already in 12 month clothing and the girls are starting to max out their 9 month clothes, so I would say they are catching up quite well. There have been a few other milestones since the last update. They have all gotten their first few teeth. They each have the two middle bottom teeth coming in and Morgan has added one on the top as well. We call her the snaggle tooth as she looks quite goofy when she smiles. They all were a bit grumpy when they started teething, but Eli had the toughest time by far. He made sure to let everyone else feel the pain he was going through. Nothing a little baby oragel couldn't handle though. They are also all extremely talkative. Eli likes to sit and yell at the top of his lungs which is very pleasant. The girls are just as chatty but keep to their inside voices for the most part. Alison and I are really looking forward to the quickly approaching spring time when it will be easier to get out of the house and get the kids a change of scenery from time to time. This month should be the last for their RSV shots and that issue should pass. I'm sure none of them will be too upset about discontinuing the painful injections in each of their thighs.
This is Addison, me and my brother and sister have decided to take over this blogging thing since my parents don't have time! A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE March!!
Here's our Top 5 Changes since March 2008
1. We all walk. Eli and Morgan are even like to play a game of tag with Dad, I'm not fast enough for that yet!
2. We are way past our first teeth. I have 12 teeth, Eli and Morgan have 8 each.
3. No more bottles! Around 11 months we decided we didn't like formula anymore. We now use straws and drink whole milk.
4. We don't eat purees anymore. We eat finger foods and try to use spoons now. Favorite foods are any fruits and pancakes Dad makes for us in the morning.
5. No more nanny! That girl with blonde hair stopped coming and now Dad takes care of use while mom is at work. I think we drive him a little crazy some days.
Now we will all take a turn to tell a little about ourselves.
I will go first since I am the oldest! I LOVE to be cuddled and sit on people's laps. Mom says I don't need to be held all the time, but I like to be away from my brother and sister. They can be so crazy sometimes. I also love to talk. I don't think mom and dad understand what I am saying, but I just keep talking. Maybe they will get it someday! I haven't been walking for that long so I still get a little nervous and sad when I fall down, but I like to show off my new skill and love when people clap for me. I am trying to figure out how to throw tantrums, but no matter what I do mom and dad don't pay attention to me when I am trying to tantrum.
My Turn! This is Eli. I am the best walker of the 3! I have also figured out how to beat up my sisters! I pull on their shirts, push them over, and pull out their hair (sorry about that Morgan). I am not trying to be mean, but it is just so much fun. Sometimes they do wrestle with me, but they always end up crying. I think it is because I am so much bigger than they are. The other day I heard my mom say I wear 24 month clothes, I am only 14 months!
Now me! Hi everyone it's Morgan! I know I have reputation for being kind of crazy and I am going to keep that reputation up! I love to run around the house screaming just for fun, Dad gets mad, but I don't really care. I also like to play with my dogs, even though it is usually through the rails in the stairs since they are never upstairs with us. That gray dog gets so nervous whenever we are around. I got in trouble a couple weeks ago. I bit my brother and sister 2 times each and they cried really loud. I always bite on toys and it's no big deal, I guess they are just wimps!
It is way past our bed time (6:30PM is when we usually go to bed) and since we wake up at 7:30 regardless of what time we go to bed we better get going! We are still trying to figure out how to post pictures. We are only 14 months old, give us a little time! Hopefully we will be able to do a better job with this whole blog thing than our parents. Have a good night!

It's great to hear that you are all getting so big! I bet you are fun! Mason still looks at your Christmas picture and talks about the babies. Can't wait to see some new picures and show him that you are not babies anymore!
Hey Hanlin Family- Cute blog. I'm glad the kids figured out how to take over. I have been checking your old website frequently to see if there are any updates. I haven't seen the triplets since our awesome basketball tournament! Great to hear about them. We should get the kids together sometime. I'd love to see Eli take William down. I can't believe he is wearing 24 month old clothes-that's awesome!
